We have a running joke between our friends that one day we'd make it in this world and would throw week-long parties on our yachts, but until that dream becomes a reality, we like to dress like we ought to be out boating.  What do you think?

The More Leather the Better

This week has been ridiculously hot– I don't think the temperature's dropped under 30, and that's not even including humidity. So apparently in my world, that translates to, "wear all the leather you can find in your closet." And that's exactly what I did. 

I met up with a friend downtown after she finished work for dinner and shopping. We hit up a restaurant called Kinton Ramen, and then walked over to the Eaton centre, where we shopped and had desserts at Joey. 

Fun fact: In attempts to achieve the skin color of a native Hawaii-an, I've discovered that the nail polish color I have on my toes– Mint Candy Apple by Essie– makes you look more tan than you are.

Atwater Market

After 4 weeks of dreaming of being done exams, I didn't know how to start the summer off when it actually happened. Luckily, Alice suggested we take the perfect sunny day to go Atwater Market. 

I had been wanting to check out Atwater Market since last summer, but winter and school kept getting in the way. The wait was worth it though– I was not disappointed. 

I have never seen strawberries that perfect, shiny, and red before, and they tasted as good as they looked. 

We came home with a baguette, croissants, chocolatines, some sausages, ricotta cheese, and the biggest green onions I have ever seen.

Sunny Days

Recently, having nice weather has been quite a treat in Montreal.  We went from 0 degrees and snowing to a few perfect days and then straight back to cold, depressing weather.

We like to capitalize whenever the sun comes out, strongly believing that sun calls for bright dresses and heels, even if you're just going to class.

Happy Hour

Since we moved, we've spent a great deal of time exploring places to go near our new apartment. One of our favorites so far is Sir Winston Churchill Pub (I mean, 2 for 1 beers during happy hour totally isn't something to complain about).
